Your kids will delve in to the wonders of the underwater world and learn about our beautiful oceans and marine life on the Great Barrier Reef through a series of fun ‘hands on’ activities with our resident Marine Biologist.

This unique program is designed to engage and educate children on the importance of protecting our oceans, the threats of climate change and what we can be doing to help. Learn how Fitzroy Island is committed to sustainability and conservation through our various programs and brainstorm what we can be doing in our everyday lives.


Vouchers can be conveniently sent via email for easy gifting.
Alternatively, opt for a printed voucher for a small fee and collect it
at the Fitzroy Island Booking Centre located at Shop 2/1 Spence Street, Cairns, or have it sent via Australia Post..


FARES Children: 5-10 years  


INCLUDES Multiple activities such as beach-combing, fish feeding, water quality testing, marine themed crafts, snacks (fruit), take home crafts and a certificate.

BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS Please meet at the Fitzroy Island Sports Hub (FISH) on Fitzroy Island at 9.30 am, located next to the Resort Pool. 


REQUIREMENTS

  • What to bring: Water bottle & sun protection – hat, sunglasses & sunscreen.
  • Transfers to and from Fitzroy Island are NOT included. Please ensure you have booked your transfers separately at an additional cost.
  • Both Resort guests and Day Tour guests welcome.
  • Maximum capacity of 8 people per program.
  • *Subject to change due to weather conditions & availability.
