Engage with our resident Marine Biologist in an immersive educational program about the Great Barrier Reef. 


This unique program is designed to engage and educate children on the importance of protecting our oceans, the threats of climate change and what we can be doing to help. Learn how Fitzroy Island is committed to sustainability and conservation through our various programs and brainstorm what we can be doing in our everyday lives.

Children: 10+ years 

INCLUDES Activities include snorkelling and the Eye on the Reef survey, snacks, snorkelling equipment and certificate.

This Activity takes place on Fitzroy Island.

DURATION 2hours approx.


BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS Please meet at the Fitzroy Island Sports Hub (FISH) on Fitzroy Island at 1 pm, located next to the Resort Pool.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a competent swimmer
  • What to bring: Water bottle, swimmers, & sun protection – hat, sunglasses & sunscreen.
  • Transfers to Fitzroy Island are NOT included. Please ensure you have booked your transfers separately at an additional cost
  • Both Resort Guests and Day Trip Guests are welcome.
  • Maximum capacity of 8 people per program.
